Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Manager to join our team in a dynamic specialty grocery store environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized sales floor. This role requires strong communication skills, a basic understanding of math for cash handling, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. As Manager, the candidate would lead a small team and be responsible for scheduling, ordering and merchandising. Ideal candidate would have a strong desire for community engagement and developing leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers and handle cash with precision.
- Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise effectively.
- Provide information about products and promotions to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and inviting shopping environment.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock rotation to minimize waste.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales with management experience.
- High integrity and strong character

- Weekend availability required
