The Learning Tree Child Development Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our team. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and is committed to providing a safe, loving, and educational environment where children can learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, responsive, and nurturing care to infants
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
- Plan and participate in developmentally appropriate activities
- Support infants' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Follow daily routines for feeding, diapering, sleeping, and play
- Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's day and development
- Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation
- Follow all center policies, procedures, and state childcare regulations
- Work cooperatively with other teachers and staff
- Support children's individual needs and developmental milestones
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with infants preferred
- Experience in a licensed childcare setting is a plus
- Must be dependable, patient, and responsible
- Must have a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Must meet all applicable Tennessee childcare licensing requirements
