Touch of Grace is seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated dance instructor join our team for the 2026-2027 season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a commitment to fostering a love for movement in students of all ages. With this job being part time, we are willing to accommodate with scheduling to best fit your needs!
We are seeking to fill a couple roles:
-HipHop Instructor
-Contemporary Instructor
-Jazz Instructor
-Competition or Recreational Instructors (2+ years and up- Jazz and Hip Hop)
Responsibilities:
- Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and ability to create engaging lesson plans
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals in safe and inclusive environment.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Choreograph routines and select music for recitals/competitions
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively handle classroom dynamics.
- A passion for dance and a commitment to promoting physical activity in a fun and supportive manner.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
