White Clay Creek Country Club is seeking experienced, personable, and professional Banquet Bartenders to join our hospitality team. Position Summary
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering outstanding beverage service while creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests. This role requires efficiency, professionalism, and adherence to responsible alcohol service practices.
Responsibilities
- Set up, stock, and maintain banquet bars before, during, and after events.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and club standards.
- Verify guest age and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with all state and local regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each event.
- Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Process beverage sales accurately when applicable.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with members and guests.
- Break down and clean bar areas following each event.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and liquor control procedures.
- Work closely with banquet servers, event managers, and culinary staff to ensure seamless event execution.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required; banquet or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Responsible alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain one if required).
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible event schedules.
