Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Care Management Services to lead our clinical care management team. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in healthcare management, clinical case management, and interdisciplinary team coordination. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient care processes, and managed care principles to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, or the combination of education, knowledge, skills, mental development, and relevant experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position.
Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
Desirable Education:
BSN required; MSN, MHA, or related master's degree preferred.
ACM, CCM, CMAC, or equivalent certification preferred.
Required Experience:
Five or more years of acute care case management leadership experience.
Desirable Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of utilization management experience in a health care setting.
Minimum of five (5) years of clinical practices with supervisory experience in a health care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; disciplinary actions; addressing complaints; and resolving issues.
- Responsible for continuing staff development.
- Develop and implement polices and procedures for the Case Management Services Department not covered by Hospital policies.
- Provide daily operational oversight and productivity management.
- Develop staffing plans and weekend coverage models.
- Create dashboards and report outcomes to executive leadership monthly.
- Prepare and execute program budget.
Pay: $145,000.00 - $203,000.00 per year
