Job Position: Welder
Location: Simpsonville, SC 29681
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift 12-hour shift
Description:
The Automated Welder is responsible for operating automated welding equipment to produce high-quality parts in a manufacturing environment. This position does not require previous welding experience, as the welding process is performed by automated machinery. Team members are responsible for loading materials, monitoring machine operation, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining a safe and efficient work area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Load and unload parts into automated welding machines.
Start and monitor automated welding cycles.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform basic measurements using gauges or measuring tools as required.
Remove finished products and prepare them for the next production stage.
Follow production schedules and work instructions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Report equipment issues or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
No prior welding experience required.
Manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment.
Schedule
Full-time
Overtime may be required based on production needs.
