Full Job Description
We are hiring motivated and outgoing Outside Sales Representatives to help generate appointments for a growing home improvement company throughout the Portland metro area. This is a door-to-door neighborhood canvassing position focused on speaking with homeowners and scheduling consultations for residential building improvement services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is competitive, driven, and looking to build a long-term career with strong earning potential. Multiple advancement levels are available depending on performance and sales ability.
Compensation & Career Tiers:
Tier 1 – Appointment Setter: Expected annual income of $40,000 to $60,000
Tier 2 – Appointment Setter & Closer: Expected annual income of $60,000 to $100,000
Tier 3 – Closer: Expected annual income of $100,000 to $140,000
Additional bonuses include:
$100 bonus when a homeowner sits down with a closer
$250 bonus when a project is sold
Health insurance benefits are also provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go door-to-door in residential neighborhoods generating leads and appointments
- Speak professionally and confidently with homeowners
- Educate homeowners on residential building improvement opportunities
- Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team
- Track daily activity and appointments set
- Represent the company professionally in the community
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
- Meet weekly and monthly performance goals
Qualifications:
- Competitive, motivated, and goal-oriented personality
- Ethical and professional approach to sales
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking neighborhoods
- Previous canvassing, roofing, construction, or home improvement experience is helpful
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred
- Reliable transportation required
