ASF Electricon Corp is seeking a reliable and motivated Electrical Helper / Field Technician to assist with electrical installations and service work throughout South Florida.
Our work includes telecommunications power supply installations, underground electrical work, and residential electrical projects. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on electrical experience and grow within the electrical industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with installation of telecom power supply cabinets and electrical equipment
- Assist with residential electrical work including panel work, breakers, outlets, lighting, and general service calls
- Support trenching, conduit installation, and wiring
- Assist with installation and removal of telecom power supply systems
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow all safety procedures and electrical codes
- Take job site photos and assist with documentation when needed
- Travel to job sites throughout South Florida
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of construction or electrical work preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors and indoors
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with electrical, low voltage, telecom, or residential electrical installations
- Experience working with power tools and construction equipment
- OSHA certification
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring and circuits
Work Environment
- Outdoor construction sites and residential properties
- Travel throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and surrounding areas
- Physical work including lifting, digging, equipment installation, and assisting with electrical service work
