Position Overview
As a Retrofit Installer, you will be responsible for the complete replacement and commissioning of residential HVAC systems. You’ll handle equipment removal, installation, start-up, and customer education — ensuring every system is installed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Remove, install, and commission residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, A/C, mini splits, zoning, gas piping)
- Fabricate duct transitions and perform PTCS duct testing/commissioning (preferred)
- Wire and program thermostats; explain operation to homeowners
- Perform all work cleanly, safely, and in compliance with code
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and company vehicle
- Deliver excellent customer service and build homeowner trust
Qualifications
- EPA Certification required
- 06A or 06B Electrical License
- 2+ years HVAC retrofit installation experience
- Skilled in low-voltage wiring, duct fabrication, zoning, and full system replacement
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $30 – $45 per hour (DOE)
