The City of Plano’s Public Works Department is looking for skilled and dependable Public Works Crew Leaders to join our Utility Operations team. These positions play a hands-on leadership role in maintaining and repairing the City’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems that serve our businesses and nearly 300,000 residents. Working under the direction of supervisors, these positions provide daily guidance to field staff, ensure safe work-site practices, and operate a variety of equipment to complete essential maintenance and repair work.
The ideal candidate for this role will bring hands-on experience in utility construction or maintenance, a commitment to safety, and strong leadership skills to help train and guide team members in the field.
