Seeking Mitigation Manager fluent with EXPERIENCE and FAMILIARITY with XACTIMATE, MICA,DASH, and VENDOR PROGRAMS. Must have valid driver's license and own a vehicle. Job duties include:
- Lead Inspection and Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, homes, or other structures to identify lead-based materials and assess the extent of contamination.
- Develop Mitigation Plans: Create detailed plans for the safe removal, encapsulation, or enclosure of lead-based materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Lead Abatement: Perform lead abatement activities such as encapsulation, enclosure, or removal of lead-based paint, pipes, or other materials using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to ensure the protection of yourself, your team members, and the surrounding environment from lead exposure hazards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate specialized equipment and tools used in lead mitigation activities, including HEPA vacuums, chemical strippers, and protective gear.
- Environmental Protection: Implement measures to contain and control lead dust and debris during mitigation activities to prevent contamination of the surrounding environment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of lead mitigation activities, including inspection reports, work plans, and completion certificates. Prepare accurate and timely reports for clients and regulatory agencies as required.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to explain the lead mitigation process, address concerns, and provide guidance on lead safety practices.
- Team Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to lead mitigation crews, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to established protocols.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to lead mitigation and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
- Training and Education: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in lead mitigation techniques, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations involving lead contamination, such as spills or unexpected releases, to minimize risks to health and safety.
Must be able to be on call 24/7, when the job requires. Will travel to jobsites all over the Spring, TX.
