Kids Avenue Alpharetta is a premium indoor play space designed for children ages 0–10 and their families. We provide a clean, engaging, and imaginative environment where children can learn, explore, and play through meaningful experiences. Beyond open play and birthday celebrations, we are expanding our educational programming and are looking for an exceptional leader to help us grow.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized General Manager & Early Childhood Program Director to oversee the daily operations of our Alpharetta location while developing and leading engaging play-based educational programs for babies, toddlers, and young children.

Responsibilities Operations & Leadership
- Manage all daily operations of the facility.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and support all team members.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new employees.
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment for every family.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the facility.
- Ensure all cleaning policies and operational procedures are consistently followed.
- Oversee inventory and maintain fully stocked toy, retail, and snack areas.
- Monitor facility presentation and ensure all play areas remain organized and engaging.
- Help improve operational systems and implement new processes when needed.
- Support birthday parties, special events, and community programming.
- Work weekends as part of the regular schedule.
Early Childhood Education & Programming
- Design and launch new play-based educational classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and young children.
- Create engaging experiences that promote learning through play, exploration, creativity, and movement.
- Develop age-appropriate classes such as:
- Music & Movement
- Process Art
- Sensory Play
- Expressive Arts
- STEM through Play
- Nature & Discovery
- Story Time & Literacy
- Experiential Learning Activities
- Lead classes while creating a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment.
- Continually evaluate and improve programming based on child development best practices and family feedback.
- Ensure all educational programming aligns with developmentally appropriate practices.
Qualifications:
Required
- Professional certifications or specialized training in play-based, child-led, or experiential early childhood education.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or management experience.
- Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, family-focused environment.
- Weekend availability.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a closely related field.
- Experience managing an early childhood center, children's museum, indoor playground, preschool, enrichment center, or similar family entertainment venue.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Experience creating curriculum or educational programming.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus.
