Automotive Technician - Hourly Pay (NOT FLAT RATE): $35 - $55/hr
We have an immediate opening for an Automotive Technician to join our team!
We pay HOURLY (NOT FLAT RATE) to our technicians so there is no need to worry if there is enough work or too many technicians to make a great paycheck!
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend repairs.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including powertrain.
- Utilize hand and power tools to execute repairs on automotive electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and high-quality customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used, adhering to ASE certification standards.
Requirements:
- Must have 5 years of professional auto repair experience working at a dealership or independent repair facility.
- Must be comfortable performing diagnostics including electrical, mechanical, fuel trim, etc.
- Must be comfortable reading wiring diagrams and using an oscilloscope and analyzing waveform patterns.
- VA State Inspectors License - MUST be able to obtain within 2 months of hire.
- ASE Certifications - A4 , A5 (Will be heavily encouraged to obtain all 8)
- 5 day work week / 40 hours per week - MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAY
