Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold strict sanitation standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen managers, including ingredient handling and prep work.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures consistently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and supplies safely and correctly.
- Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and health standards throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers and sinks.

- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a busy hospitality setting.
