Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Assistant and Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for providing outstanding patient service. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, managing patient interactions, and coordinating treatment plans effectively. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment while handling administrative duties with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage appointment scheduling
- Verify insurance coverage and explain treatment costs, including dental billing and coding procedures standards.
- Assist patients with understanding their treatment plans, financial options, and dental insurance benefits.
- Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely preparation of treatment rooms and necessary documentation review prior to procedures.
- Handle phone communication professionally, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and managing patient follow-up calls with proper phone etiquette.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and managing electronic dental records
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers to ensure clarity of care plans while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
- Contribute to a positive office environment by demonstrating excellent clerical experience, computer skills, and medical administrative support.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dental front office setting with proficiency in clinic operations and patient service delivery.(preferred 3 years or more)
- Strong Dental knowledge
- Demonstrated ability in dental billing, coding, insurance verification, and health information management.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and dental records management.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Effective communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette are crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
