Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations across our facility, managing staff, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- MANDATED 48HRS A WEEK.
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service excellence in cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks
- Develop work schedules that meet operational needs while maintaining team productivity and morale
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, laundry facilities, and other areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain stock levels
- Implement and monitor safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and overall sanitation practices
- Collaborate with management to develop improvement plans that enhance service quality and operational efficiency
Experience
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping or janitorial services within hospitality or hotel environments
- Extensive background in cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong knowledge of laundry procedures, sanitation standards, and safety regulations
- Experience with hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, chemical handling, and maintenance of cleanliness standards in large-scale facilities
