American Traveler is seeking a GI/Endoscopy Tech with at least 1 year of Endo/GI Lab experience, BLS, and MA-C or Surgical Tech certification for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II trauma, tertiary medical center in Issaquah, WA.

Level II trauma, tertiary medical center with a large endoscopy department featuring 19 admit/discharge rooms and 4 procedure rooms

Patient mix is 30% inpatient and 70% outpatient, with approximately 10% pediatric cases
-
Patients range from pediatric to geriatric with complex GI conditions
-
4x10-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 7:00–17:30
-
Every other weekend required
-
On-call required with a 45-minute response time; estimated 132 hours per month of on-call

Floating between all facilities within the state is required

Epic EMR required
-
Minimum 1 year of Endo/GI Lab experience

Current BLS certification
-
MA-C, Surgical Tech certification, or Nursing Assistant certification required

Advanced therapeutic endoscopy training strongly preferred

Experience with USAP MAC sedation preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Must be flexible with shift start times

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

License required if applicable

Assist physicians intra-procedurally with both general and advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures

Responsibilities include high-level disinfection (HLD) scope reprocessing and room turnover

Cares for ambulatory and hospitalized patients across a broad range of complex GI diseases

Candidates who were previously permanent employees at a non-Swedish Providence facility must have been separated for at least 3 months to be eligible; former permanent staff must also reside more than 50 miles from this facility to return as a traveler
