About Upstream ABA
Upstream ABA is a brand-new, clinician-first ABA provider launching services across Missouri. We believe that exceptional client outcomes start by taking exceptional care of our clinicians. We are building a supportive, community-centered practice free from corporate micromanagement and unrealistic billable hour requirements.
We are looking for our very first BCBA hire to partner with us as we launch our practice and prepare to onboard our first clients. Whether you are an experienced BCBA looking for a flexible fresh start, or a newly certified BCBA eager to step into the field with a supportive startup, we want to hear from you!
The Opportunity: A Phased, Low-Stress Launch
Because we are a brand-new practice, you don't have to walk into a chaotic, overwhelming caseload on day one. We are looking for a BCBA who wants to establish their roots with us and grow at a comfortable, manageable pace:
- Phase 1 (The Onboarding & Pre-Launch Phase - Flexible Part-Time): Before we open our doors to active clinical sessions, you will complete your insurance onboarding and assist with light administrative setup tasks. This phase is entirely remote and completed on your own flexible schedule.
- Phase 2 (The Client Launch - Transition to Full-Time): As our practice officially launches, you will conduct the initial intake assessments and design the treatment plans for our very first wave of clients.
- Phase 3 (The Career Growth Phase): As your caseload fills to a stable, capped limit, you will transition into a secure, full-time salaried role with opportunities to help mentor future RBTs.

Qualifications.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing (New graduates are encouraged to apply!).
- Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Missouri.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to be part of a supportive, growing team.
- Experience (or training) conducting baseline assessments (VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc.) and writing initial treatment plans.
Pay: $65.00 - $95.00 per hour
