Mazahua Azteca is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, maintains high standards, and understands the importance of consistency, cleanliness, and professionalism in a restaurant environment.
Position Details:
-Full-time position, Part time may be considered
-6 days per week
-Monday off
-Schedule: 9:00 AM until closing, 2 hour break between shifts
-Compensation: $15 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards
-Assist with daily food preparation and station setup
-Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
-Follow recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
-Work efficiently during peak service hours
-Support overall kitchen operations and teamwork
Qualifications:
-Reliable and punctual
-Strong work ethic and professional attitude
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Attention to detail and commitment to quality
-Ability to follow instructions and maintain kitchen standards
-Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required
-ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred
If you do not currently have a ServSafe certification, we can assist the right candidate in obtaining one after hirinng.
