Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and professional Front Desk Agents to join our team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be proficient in phone etiquette, and have experience with phone systems. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our guest relations efforts.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and reservations.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and enhance their stay.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the hotel or resort industry.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles.
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency with phone systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds; multilingual skills are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with guests through effective guest relations practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
