MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assists in the development and preparation of training materials and manuals.
- Plan, schedule and implement training duties for operator and support jobs on each shift.
- Provide Department Section Leaders with timely updates on all related trainee problems or issues relating to trainee performance and/or safety concerns.
- Assist in the records retention of Training Department documentation.
- Conduct additional/special training classes (day and occasional evenings) in order to enhance awareness of and compliance with OSHA regulations, procedures and/or company policies.
- Assist with safety documentation, including, but not limited to, safety training, training logs and Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) administration.
- Assist with general HR functions as directed by the Human Resources/Safety Manager.
- Ability to function with a personal computer and utilize Microsoft Windows/Office software.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a constantly changing environment.
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to all HR functions.
- Ability to communicate/interact with associates and management personnel.
- Ability to perform job duties in a safe manner.
**This position is Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm, with approved overtime.
