Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant!
123 Kids Dentistry is located in East Los Angeles and is dedicated to providing positive dental experiences for children and ensuring their smiles are bright and healthy for a lifetime. We are looking for a Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant who thrives in a fun, team-oriented, and caring environment. While experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred, we are happy to train an enthusiastic dental assistant who is eager to learn and grow.
Position Details:
- Competitive pay: $20–$28/hr based on experience
- Schedule: Tue, Wed, Thur, and Fri: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sat: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (must be available to work on saturday)
- Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Calm under pressure
- Able to focus in a busy healthcare environment
- Committed to superior patient care and education
- Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Proficiency in Open Dental
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during all dental procedures and maintain accurate patient charting
- Capture high-quality radiographs and images
- Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
- Chart and enter treatments into Open Dental software
- Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Adhere to all OSHA and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines
