We are seeking a Cabinet Door Installer/shop hand to join our team. Be a part of a growing, fast-paced, women and veteran owned and operated business. This is an entry-level position, no experience required. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of Hand tools and some sanding and cleaning experience; however, we are willing to train the right person.
This role requires attention to detail, problem solving, coachability and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team efficiently within time constraints; interact professionally and positively with customers. You will be responsible for cleaning, sanding and transporting doors and also with project installs. Your hours would range from 30-40 per week, as this is a part time role. Hours are M-F, no night hours.
Duties
- Prepare cabinet doors and drawers for spraying by cleaning and sanding
- Wood fill and caulk any gaps
- Tack cloth doors and place them on racks to be sprayed
- Use basic hand tools to take-down and install cabinet doors and hardware
- Making sure the van is stock with all necessary equipment
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety standards at all times.
- Operate company vehicle in a safe manner
Experience
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Good driving record and reliable transportation
