RESPONSIBILITIES:

Layout, position, aligns and secures parts for welding and bolt-up.

Measure, mark, cut, bore, fit and/or install various structural components in accordance with blueprints and job specifications using hand and power tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders/benders, etc.

Participate in JSA’s and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes.

Conduct behavioral based safety observations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
3 or more years prior fabrication experience
-
Able to interpret ISO’s and P&ID’s
-
Able to cut with a torch
-
Square-cut and bevel-cut metal using arc cutting equipment
-
Pierce and cut slots in metal using plasma arc cutting equipment
-
Create field sketches
-
Experience using safe work habits
-
Candidates will be required to pass a Hands-on Fitter Test
