Duties
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake inspections with precision and efficiency
- Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and determine necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other vehicle components using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify safety concerns and recommend appropriate service solutions
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Support the dealership’s service operations by handling heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is highly preferred
- Hands-on automotive repair experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostics
- Familiarity with automotive service procedures including oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general maintenance
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment in a professional setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in a team environment
- Service technician experience that demonstrates technical proficiency and customer-focused service skills
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards, vehicle maintenance best practices, and sales support is a plus
