Machine Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate production equipment to manufacture metal parts such as nuts, bolts, rods, and other components. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate multiple production machines to manufacture metal parts
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
- Identify and separate defective parts from acceptable products
- Complete production documentation, quality records, and time-tracking reports
- Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
- Package finished products for shipment
- Perform routine machine adjustments, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and cranes as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
- Basic machine operation and troubleshooting skills
Preferred
- Forklift and material handling experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts
- Ability to work in hot and cold warehouse/manufacturing environments
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/Factory setting
- Facility is heated but not air-conditioned
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required
- Safety glasses
- Steel-toe boots
- Hearing protection in designated areas
Dress Code
