- Participate in and, based on experience, lead process safety incident investigations and root cause analyses; support effective development, implementation, and organizational learning from corrective actions.
- Monitor process safety performance, identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities, and communicate process safety risks and priorities to site personnel and leadership.

- Relevant experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, or other process industries, with demonstrated involvement in Process Safety Management activities or responsibilities.
- Ability to function independently, manage technical work and priorities, exercise sound professional judgment, and identify when additional technical expertise or organizational support is required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, influence without direct authority, facilitate technical discussions, and work collaboratively across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, and site leadership.
- Ability and willingness to work regularly in operating areas and engage directly with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Technical Competencies:

- Experience participating in PHAs or other structured engineering or risk assessment studies. Demonstrated ability to independently facilitate HAZOP and LOPA studies is strongly preferred; candidates with relevant technical leadership or study facilitation experience and demonstrated ability to develop these capabilities will also be considered.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical standards, regulatory requirements, RAGAGEP, engineering documentation, and process safety requirements to operating facilities.
- Knowledge of process safety risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and process safety performance improvement, with demonstrated experience or the ability to develop additional competency in these areas.
