Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional development, and early childhood learning standards.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and social interaction.
- Provide attentive care to children’s basic needs, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as necessary.
- Help implement specialized programs such as behavior management strategies for children with diverse needs or disabilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members to ensure consistent support for each child's development.
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential for success.
