Step onto the production floor ready to apply mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic know-how. In this role, you diagnose issues, repair plant production equipment, and set up a variety of machines to consistently produce quality parts in a die casting environment.

Begin by reviewing statistical process control charts, interpreting trends, and making process or equipment adjustments to keep parts within specification.

Move between workstations to troubleshoot and repair issues involving structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulic systems across diverse equipment.

Carry out preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Perform machining and bench operations to modify or repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.

Operate a forklift as needed to safely position materials or components.

Pitch in with other duties as assigned to support smooth operations.

Intermediate troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication capabilities.

General computer proficiency to document work and interpret data.

Ability to operate a forklift.

Fluency in English and in the primary language used in your area of responsibility and/or location.

High School diploma or equivalent education and experience.

1.5 years of technical experience applying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.

Lift and carry materials of various sizes and weights: frequently 5–25 lbs; occasionally 25–75 lbs; rarely greater than 75 lbs.

Stand and/or walk continuously over a full work shift (8–12 hours).

Perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching throughout a full shift (8–12 hours).

Use power and vibrating tools over a full work shift (8–12 hours).

Operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8–12 hours).

Work in areas with noise levels that require hearing protection for a full shift (8–12 hours).
