About the Role
As a Thermal Processing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of high-performance components. You will manage the operation of specialized furnaces and precision cleaning equipment, directly impacting the safety and reliability of products used in vital infrastructure.
Responsibilities-
Operate and monitor heat treat furnaces and ultrasonic degreasing systems to meet strict production schedules.

Execute complex thermal processes, including shot peening, airflow, and waterflow operations, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.

Perform rigorous visual inspections and maintain precise quality records to prevent non-conforming products.

Manage material preparation, including loading, unloading, and verifying parts against operational routers.

Utilize data management systems to input serial numbers and track production metrics accurately.

Maintain a high standard of workplace organization through consistent 6S audits and area maintenance.

Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot process deviations and ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency in basic mathematics, including decimals and fractions, for interpreting technical charts and formulas.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high manual dexterity and pass a visual acuity assessment.

Capacity to lift and maneuver components weighing up to 60 pounds with mechanical assistance.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to meet export-control access requirements.

Prior experience in a heat treat or industrial finishing environment.

Familiarity with FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) or similar NDT certification standards.

Experience using precision measuring instruments and digital scanning devices.
