Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Kitchen Assistant/ Cashier to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will support daily kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, meal assembly, and food service activities.
Because we are mainly take-out operation with limited "dine-in" seating, staff will be required to operate the register as well as hand off food to customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Serve meals to guests or clients with professionalism and friendliness
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, knife skills, and kitchen operations
- Food prep for daily operations as well as setting up for the next service.
- Operate register when needed.
- Dishwash as need.
Qualifications
- Basic kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform meal preparation and cooking tasks efficiently
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques are a plus
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
- Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn about food industry practices

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
