Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid SLP licensure in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads is desirable
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and educational staff
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students ranging from early childhood through adolescence
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to support generalization of communication skills in classroom settings
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development opportunities, and team consultations as needed
