Works directly with the shop supervisor, customer, drafter, and peers to produce finished products
Must be able to interpret drawings and fit materials to print
Proficient in modern welding techniques and equipment
Good working knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel fabrication.
Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.
Utilizes knowledge of various machines, welding practices, mathematics and building materials
Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Must have working knowledge of welding shop operations
Position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently but also perform well within teams or work groups
Successful applicant will be safety-conscious and have good housekeeping practices
Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced
