The Big Picture
As our Assistant Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our distribution operations run safely, efficiently, and accurately every day. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead from the floor—guiding warehouse and office operations while working alongside the team to keep products moving seamlessly from receiving to shipping. You'll drive operational excellence by fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement, while identifying opportunities to improve processes, optimize inventory, and exceed service expectations. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers, franchisees, and business partners.

This position will work onsite out of our Warehouse in Conyers, GA, Monday – Friday.
What that looks like day to day:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring productivity, quality, and on-time shipping goals are consistently achieved.

Supervise, coach, and support warehouse and office team members while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and safety-first work environment.

Assign daily work, prioritize tasks, and remove operational roadblocks to keep workflows running efficiently.

Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

Manage inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices, conduct inventory audits, and partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, monitor shipping schedules, and communicate with carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure timely deliveries.

Monitor warehouse performance metrics, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement solutions that increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and coordinate preventative maintenance with vendors as needed.

Schedule containers, manage cycle counts, import and save orders

Process and package edibles.com products

Research any issues that arise and respond to customer service/tickets accordingly

Process returns as received

Package chocolates and icing

Enforce company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant facility.

Jump in where needed to support warehouse operations and help the team meet business demands.
What You Bring:
-
3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.

Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and FIFO inventory management.

Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Forklift certification and at least two years of experience driving a reach and sitdown forklift

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics, supply chain, or operations education is a plus.
