Crew Lead – Residential Remodeling
$24–28/hr with advancement opportunities to $31+/hr
Shepherd Home Services is a growing residential remodeling company looking for a dependable Crew Lead who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to build something long-term. We perform a variety of work including painting, drywall, trim, storm doors, exterior repairs, and general remodeling. This role offers leadership opportunities, flexible start times, and a clear path for advancement.
Pay and Growth
- $24/hr during paid 60-day training period
- $28/hr after successful evaluation based on performance
- Quarterly raises up to $31/hr for strong performance as a Crew Lead
- Opportunities to advance into Field Supervisor and Foreman roles with expanded responsibilities
Schedule and Location
- Flexible weekday schedule with most days starting between 9:00–10:00 a.m.
- Occasional weekend work opportunities available
- Work throughout Duluth, Superior, Proctor, Hermantown, and surrounding areas
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small crew
- Ensure projects are completed safely and to company standards
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Solve problems and keep projects moving without constant supervision
- Train and support newer team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Previous remodeling, construction, handyman, painting, or carpentry experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and climb ladders
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Must own basic hand tools (drill, saw, bits, hammer, flat bar, etc.)
