The Controller is the organization's Director of Finance and is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to leadership in a clear and actionable way.

Manage daytoday financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Develop, maintain, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as internal policies.

Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic planning and business decisions.

Lead, mentor, and develop finance staff.

Collaborate with executive leadership to drive financial strategies and longterm growth.

Completes required reports (CFRs) and annual budget (CBR); submits to OASAS on time.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

CPA or in progress

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or related role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in QuickBooks.

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving abilities.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.
