We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in restaurant management and hospitality to take their career to the next level.
Duties:
- Interview, hire, train, and supervise staff members to ensure excellent service delivery
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Handle cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash handling
- Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate banquet events and ensure smooth execution
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for business growth
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality is required
- Strong knowledge of food industry trends and best practices
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff members, customers, and vendors
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to implement them effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
