JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, oversight, and support of supply chain operations within a rural Critical Access Hospital environment. This role supervises frontline supply chain functions including purchasing, receiving, inventory management, distribution, PAR management, and supply optimization while ensuring operational continuity across clinical and non-clinical departments.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and solutions-oriented leader with strong critical thinking skills, sound operational judgment, and experience leveraging ERP and automation systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service levels. This position serves as a working supervisor who balances hands-on operational responsibilities with team leadership and process improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervise daily supply chain operations including purchasing support, receiving, distribution, inventory control, and supply replenishment.
Serve as the day-to-day operational leader for supply chain staff, providing direction, coaching, and issue resolution.

Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to support purchasing, inventory accuracy, reporting, and workflow optimization.
Support and maintain automated supply chain technologies including inventory systems, barcode scanning, PAR optimization tools, and electronic ordering platforms.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, inventory controls, and supply utilization through technology and process redesign.
Maintain accurate system data including item master information, PAR levels, vendor records, and inventory controls.
Deepen Connections: We build strong relationships with our patients, their families and partners in the communities we serve.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education:
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Specialty Certification: Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred
Required Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive supply chain, materials management, purchasing, or inventory management experience, preferably in healthcare.
