License Massage Therapist
Luce Chiropractic & Sports Care is hiring massage therapists-Independent Contractors that are interested in working on patients/clients with injuries or acute/chronic pain. Clean and professional environment. 100% of tips received from clients are given to the therapist that performed the massage. Receptionist(s) at Luce Chiropractic & Sports Care will schedule the therapist’s clients and will collect payment from the clients at each visit. Part-time and Full-Time positions are available or less than full time hours available.
Clinic office hours being hired for:
-Mon 8:00am-1:00pm
-Tues 8:00am-12:00pm
-Wed 8:00am-12:00pm
-Fri 8:00am -1:00pm
Roles and Duties:
- The massage therapist’s job position requires knowledge about the body and acute or chronic injuries.
- Communicate with the Doctor about the patients care.
- Ability to communicate well with the clients/patients receiving care.
- Ability to perform massages; ideally structural, deep tissue, or trigger point.
- Ability to maintain good written records regarding the care that is being performed on each patient/client.
- Maintain massage room neat and clean.
Required Skills: This Massage therapist -Independent Contractor is required to posses certain skills to be able to perform their duties correctly. Some of the required skills are;
Maintain confidentiality, should be self-motivated, effective communication skills in person, efficient in their massage technique(s), an active state license, and carry and provide Mal-Practice Insurance.
