Job Summary:
EP Breaux Utility Services is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Aluminum Pipe Welder with experience in utility and substation environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding aluminum conduit, bus pipe, and associated components for high-voltage substation projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
· Weld and fabricate aluminum conduit, bus pipe, and other structural components for substations using TIG and MIG welding techniques.
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
· Measure and cut aluminum pipe to precise specifications.
· Perform weld quality checks and ensure all work meets company and client standards.
· Assist with installation and routing of aluminum conduit and related substation infrastructure.
· Operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe bending equipment safely and efficiently.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety protocols.
· Work as part of a crew and communicate effectively with foremen, electricians, and other team members.
· Travel to job sites as needed (travel per diem may be available).
Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
