Upgryd is a fast-growing outdoor living company specializing in custom decks and outdoor living spaces throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our warehouse and logistics team.
We are currently hiring for two positions:
- Warehouse Associate
- CDL Class A Delivery Driver
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced construction environment with opportunities for advancement. Both roles work closely together to keep our projects running efficiently.
The CDL Driver will spend time both on the road and in the warehouse. When not making deliveries, they will assist with warehouse operations alongside the Warehouse Associate.
Position Overview
You will be responsible for preparing materials for upcoming projects, maintaining warehouse organization, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are delivered safely and accurately. Team members will also assist with field operations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Pull and organize materials for upcoming projects
- Read material lists and accurately prepare orders
- Palletize and stage materials for delivery
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate a forklift safely (or be willing to learn)
- Properly secure and strap materials for transport
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse
- Assist with inventory counts and material organization
- Communicate with office staff, project managers, and crews
- Follow company safety procedures
Additional Responsibilities – CDL Class A Driver
- Drive company flatbed trucks
- Deliver building materials to residential job sites
- Deliver, swap, and pick up dumpsters
- Haul construction debris to approved disposal facilities
- Assist crews with unloading materials on site
- Support warehouse operations when not making deliveries
- Be trained to install helical footings/foundation systems
- Inspect vehicles and trailers before and after use
- Secure every load according to DOT and company safety standards
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Bilingual (English & Spanish/Portuguese) preferred
- Able to lift and carry heavy building materials
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
Additional Requirements – CDL Driver
- CDL Class A License REQUIRED
- Experience driving flatbed trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Comfortable driving throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- Willing to assist in warehouse operations between deliveries
Preferred Experience
- Forklift operation
- Construction, lumber yard, or building materials experience
- Warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience securing loads with straps and tie-downs
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Saturdays as needed
- Typical start time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
