Executive Assistant to Partner | San Francisco, CA | Up to $150,000 Base
Our client, a highly respected and collaborative venture capital firm, is seeking a polished and proactive Executive Assistant to support a busy Partner in their San Francisco office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, low-ego team environment where EAs are valued as true business partners.
The ideal candidate is highly intelligent, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage shifting priorities with ease. The position is primarily onsite (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) and offers the opportunity to support a dynamic Partner with a global focus, particularly within the cybersecurity space.
What You’ll Do
- Manage complex and ever-changing calendars, prioritizing meetings and ensuring seamless scheduling across multiple time zones
- Coordinate heavy domestic and international travel, including frequent global travel logistics and detailed itineraries
- Process and manage expenses with accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, founders, and external stakeholders
- Communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of priorities
- Anticipate needs proactively and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-moving environment
- Leverage technology and new tools (including AI) to increase efficiency and streamline workflows
- Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
- Maintain flexibility and responsiveness, including accessibility outside standard business hours when required
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8 years of Executive Assistant experience, ideally within venture capital or similarly fast-paced environments
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new tools and systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented, low-ego environment
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
Compensation & Benefits
Up to $150,000 base salary, depending on experience
