Calm Waters Dentistry & Implants is seeking a motivated, full-time Dental Hygienist to join our wonderful team! We are a small, family-owned dental practice with offices in Mooresville and Statesville - this position works at both locations.

Responsibilities
- Create a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for
- Guide patients through their hygiene visits by clearly explaining procedures, answering questions, and building trust
- Perform comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and review of medical and dental histories
- Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling using hand instrumentation and ultrasonic technology
- Identify areas of concern for the doctor’s exam and accurately document findings and treatment discussions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care in a supportive, encouraging manner
- Take digital X-rays, panorex images, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos as needed to support diagnosis and patient education
- Maintain accurate digital clinical records, follow sterilization protocols, and help keep the hygiene area well stocked and organized
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene
- Active North Carolina Dental Hygienist license (required)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
- Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Expected Hours
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am-5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch
Fridays: 7:30-1:00 pm (flexible/optional)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
