Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lightray Production Associate with soldering experience to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and testing electronic components and assemblies to ensure high-quality production standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of innovative lighting products, supporting our mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components and subassemblies using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques
- Perform precise soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) following IPC 610 standards for quality and reliability
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to accurately assemble electrical systems
- Conduct electrical testing using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to verify circuit integrity
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to prepare parts and ensure proper fit and finish
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, or soldering processes
Skills
- Strong understanding of PCB assembly, surface mount technology (SMT), and soldering techniques
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality assurance
- Ability to read schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, and component fitting
- Familiarity with electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits and wiring connections
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control in manufacturing processes
