We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our team to excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction
- Manage staff recruitment, training, coaching, and development to build a motivated and skilled team
- Oversee inventory control, food production, and cost management to maximize profitability and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for food handling and sanitation
- Supervise kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking processes, and kitchen cleanliness
- Handle cash management duties including POS system oversight, cash handling procedures, and financial reporting
- Implement staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with vendors for supplies procurement and manage budgetary responsibilities effectively
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food industry operations
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Square POS; proficient in cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles including staff training & development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture
- Familiarity with inventory control practices, budgeting, and cost analysis within a restaurant setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and conduct staff evaluations effectively
- Experience managing diverse dining formats including casual dining, fine dining, catering or event services is preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles including customer service excellence and food safety standards
