Description:
We are actively recruiting for a Part-Time RN Weekend Instructor to teach Nurse Aide I Courses. The Weekend Course is Saturday & Sunday ONLY, 9:00am - 4:30pm, for 16 Days/8 Weekends.
Duties include:
- Responsible for the classroom lecture, lab instruction, and skills assessment
- Counsel and guide students as they maneuver through the course
- Be able to communicate effectively to a group orally and in writing
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in all situations to those you are working with and act as a role model for the students in the program
- To perform and instruct skills according to NC DHSR the NCBON guidelines
- Supervise and assess students at our facility partner during clinical rotations (REQUIRED)
- Communicate effectively with students, Faculty/Staff, residents and families of residents, and staff at clinical facilities
- Must be able to maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in accordance with State and school requirements.
Qualifications:
ADN, BSN, or MSN Nursing Degree
Holds an unencumbered license to practice as an RN in North Carolina.
Must have at least two years of experience (4,000 hours) as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States including the supervision of Nurse Aides (CNAs).
Previous teaching or precepting experience preferred.
Supplemental Information:
All Instructor positions are contingent upon student enrollment.
All employees are paid by direct deposit.
Candidates are required to submit official transcripts for all degrees obtained prior to their first day of work or hire date.
