Full-Time Leasing Manager Self Storage facilities with optional Housing
Securlock Storage Centers is accepting resumes for an independent, motivated, and dependable person who is driven to succeed both personally and professionally to manage a self-storage facility. The successful candidate will operate under the company’s core values and commitment to excellence and be committed to providing excellent service to the community.
The ideal candidate will have prior management or sales experience and a track record of success. A candidate should have effective customer service and sales skills, along with good time management skills and the ability to solve problems in a courteous and timely manner. Additionally, candidate will have good closing and consulting skills with a professional appearance.
2-5 years of self-storage experience is preferred. The candidate should be computer-literate. Experience with StoreEdge self-storage software is a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing potential customers the features and benefits of a self-storage facility by understanding what the customer needs, and then showing options and renting the desired space; using good phone skills to discover a potential customer’s needs and then capturing the reservation or setting appointment; greeting customers; selling retail items; assisting existing customers; renting company truck, and; maintaining the property through light maintenance (changing light bulbs, sweeping units, general cleaning).
On-Site housing may be available.
· Candidates must pass background check and pass drug test and have a valid driver’s license.
· After successful completion of the 60-day probation period with continuous employment, 40 hours of vacation and 40 hours of sick pay are awarded to eligible employees.
· Health and dental coverage begin at 60 days for eligible employees, if elected.
This is a full-time position, and Saturdays will be required. The property is closed on Sunday and Thursday.
