JOB SUMMARY:
This position functions as a working supervisor who manages, mentors, and evaluates the employees of the HVAC filter/preventative maintenance crew. This is technical work involving the design and completion of schedules to perform the manufacturer�s maintenance recommendations for all HVAC-related equipment within the School Division. This position assists in creating a comprehensive preventative maintenance (PM) program that addresses all sites at least once a year. This position will assess, evaluate, and design the supporting documentation for preventative maintenance crews to ensure the appropriate inspection and adjustments to all HVAC-related equipment. This position will also oversee insulation and other HVAC-related contractors. The position also assists an inventory control specialist to secure filters in a timely manner and make necessary procurement changes as schools are renovated or new schools come online. This position is primarily a night shift, working 2 p.m.-10 p.m. The School Division may change this from time to time depending upon School Division needs. During the summer this position normally works a day shift 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
