Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain high standards of sanitation in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas by applying proper cleaning protocols
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Care for floors through specialized techniques like carpet cleaning and floor polishing to ensure durability and appearance
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning products as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Follow safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to maintain a healthy environment for all residents
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping management
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation standards, and janitorial best practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and carpet extractors effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
- Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
- Experience with laundry processes and handling delicate fabrics with care
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
