MANAGEMENT OF TEAM MEMBER PERFORMANCE AND CUSTOMER NEEDS,
THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SYSTEMS, AND FOCUSED
ATTENTION ON IMPROVED AND SUSTAINED RESTAURANT PERFORMANCE.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Completing weekly labor schedule according to restaurant labor cost goals
- Managing team member performance and staffing needs
- Financial accountability of daily safe and till counts
- Reviewing reports and restaurant metrics. Focused on meeting and exceeding metrics in ALL measured areas.
- Ensuring operational checklists are up to date and completed on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Ensuring all department equipment and restaurant assets are in good working order.
- Facilitating repair/replacement of equipment/parts when needed
- Weekly director meetings with the Chick-fil-A Owner and leadership Team
- Responsibility for quarterly goal setting and subsequent outcomes
- Communicating priorities, vision, goals, etc. to restaurant team members
- Ability and willingness to step into any and every position within the stores operation, including busy times, down time and or team members absence to assure the teams mission of superior customer service is achieved
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members and display full accountability
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues
- Strong knowledge of computer and internet-based software and hardware
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Strong history of successful people management or restaurant management preferred
- Strong time management skills and effective prioritization and follow through to execute plans
Success Measurements: Director is successful upon attaining the following in
all areas:
- Food Cost Gap for Desserts < .0%
- Labor – Productivity < 18.3% (60% of Labor Budget allocated
- towards FOH)
- CEM Scores = Top 20% of the chain
- EcoSure Workplace Safety Visits = 1 (elite score)
Requirements
- Education: Associates Degree Required, Bachelor's + recommended
- Experience: Two years of leadership experience within a sport, club, or organization required.
- Residence: Must live within a 1 hour radius of Chick-fil-A Hazlet, required.
- Transportation: Valid driver license + reliable form of transportation, required.
- ServSafe - ServSafe Manager certification prior to or during the 90 day probationary period required.
- Recommendations/References - Two references/recommendations required.
